"I often have the opportunity of witnessing students' talents in the classroom or when they contribute poetry or present art work, and am always amazed at their talent. Watching and hearing musicians is doubly exciting, for the seemingly spontaneous gift of music belies the hard work and courage it takes to perform in front of an audience (no matter how appreciative they may be). We (Lisa and I ) were impressed by the commitment and joy all the musicians put forth, as well as the level of musicianship of the performers. The audience and musicians were not the only ones who were impressive, but the folks at O'Connors who allowed the use of their space.
